By following the simple tips on taking care of jewellery, you can preserve it for a longer period and also save on unnecessary expense to repair it.
Treat your jewellery with utmost care. It may get scratched / dented or may break if handled roughly.
Avoid wearing jewellery on daily basis.Remove your jewellery like necklace, kangan, jumkas, etc. before sleeping,bathing, swimming,etc.
Do not apply cologne / perfume directly on your jewellery.

After removing jewellery wipe it gently with soft cloth to remove residues of the perspiration etc.
Wash jewellery only in mild and natural soap water and preferably water containing extracts of "Ritha" (A natural soapy seed).
Keep your jewellery in soft cloth or cotton when not in use.
If necessary get your jewellery cleaned and polished only from whom you have purchased it and never from unknown person, even if done free of cost. It may damage your jewellery or reduce the gold from it.

Please do not pile up or club jewellery in a container or even in soft cloth or cotton as hard contact of items within themselves spoil the surface finish of the products. Pack or wrap everypiece of jewellery separately.
Avoid contact of jewellery with mercury as jewellery may turn white
on contact.Soldering done for repairing may affect stones and finish of delicate Jewellery.
